'Friends of the Street Crisis Centre' Donation Centre

20/10/2014

From the 27th October to 14th November our school will be running a donation station to support 'Friends of the Street Crisis Centre'.  'Friends of the Street' is a non-government organisation that helps and gives support to the homeless, the hungry, the elderly, the disabled and anyone suffering serious hardship in our local area!  'Friends of the Street' is located in Armstrong Way, Caboolture and relies on the generosity of the community and wonderful volunteers.

How Can You Help?

Simply bring in a non-perishable grocery item (e.g. tinned food - baked beans, spaghetti, pasta, pasta sauce, rice, tea, coffee, toiletries - deodorant etc) to add to the donation station.  Clean out your panty or simply add one or two extra grocery items to your grocery list to donate to this very worthy cause.  If every child in our school is able to donate one item we will be giving over 1000 grocery items to those who really need it!!

For each item donated you will be given a raffle ticket to go in to the draw to receive one of two $20 tuckshop vouchers.
