Yr 6 Graduation Ceremony & Evening


​The Year 6 Graduation ceremonies will be held at Tullawong SS Hall commencing from 9:30am on Wednesday 9th December.

The program will run as follows:

8:20am - All students arrive at school in full uniform including black shoes and white socks.  Student leaders to ensure they are wearing their badges.

9.25am - Year 6 students arrive at the hall with their class teachers.  Students sit in class groups.  Parents/carers may go straight to hall to get a seat.

9.30am - (approx) - Presentation of graduation certificates to all year 6 students in their class groups.  All students, parents, carers and family members are invited to attend this section of the event but are requested NOT to depart until every class has finished.

10.30am - (approx) - Opportunity for individual and small group photos of students.  Year 6 students may be taken home by parents/carers to prepare for the disco.  There will be a sign out sheet at the hall.

6:30pm - Arrive at school hall for disco - for invited students only

7:15pm - 7:45pm - Supper and cutting of the graduation cake

8:00pm - 8:30pm - Disco continues - for invited students only

8:30pm - Disco ends.  Parents arrive at the hall to collect students.  Please be on time.

A DJ has been booked for the disco.

Students standard dress:

Smart casual:  boys - slacks and collared shirt / girls - dress/skirt, smart evening wear

No jeans or shorts permitted

No restriction on girls shoes as pointy heels will not damage the hall floor.

Parents will be required to collect their child/children from inside the hall at the end of the evening.  It will be a great evening for all of our Year 6 students to celebrate the end of their primary schooling at Tullawong State School.  We look forward to your support with this evening.

Students identified by the School Leadership Team with repeated behaviour offences and those currently on suspension are permitted to attend the presentation of their graduation certificates during the day but will not be able to attend the Supper or Disco.  Those students and parents will be informed prior to the event and will not need to contribute any funds towards the cost of the evening.
