‚ÄčThe annual National Walk Safely to School Day (WSTSD) - when primary school children are encouraged to walk and commute safely to school - will be held throughout Australia on Friday 23rd May 2014.

What can parents do?

Meet at one of the parks (Bluebell Park, Lynfield Drive Park, Parish Park or Toohey Street) to start the Walk/Ride to school at 7.45am. Parents or older siblings are asked to walk with Tullawong State School students from the park to the school. Administration staff will be in attendance at the parks.

A representative from the school (teacher, Deputy Principal or Principal) and a representative from the Moreton Bay Regional Council will be at the park to meet students and to walk to school. All students who met at one of the parks will be given a special sticker which will entitle them to a sausage sizzle when they arrive at school.

Onarrival at school - (Sausage Sizzle)

Students and families will be given a sausage on bread when they arrive at school. This will be available outside the Hall area.
