Tullawong State School Student Resource Scheme (SRS) 2024

To help students be ready for learning, here at Tullawong we offer a full package resource scheme.  This mean you return the form signed ‘Yes’ for the scheme then your child will have everything ready everyday.

The school requires a $100 deposit and you have the option to pay the whole amount in full, pay in 3 instalments or pop it on your centrepay account.  (please note you will still need $100 deposit for the Centrepay option.)

If you have a centrepay account, you need to make sure you are contributing enough from your centrepay to cover your account within a reasonable time frame. Please speak with the office ladies regarding this.

The school will be regularly phoning parents to update them on the status of their accounts. At the start of each year parents will be invoiced for the SRS. ).

If you are not in the scheme, you will need to provide items each on the booklist along with every time your child ‘runs out’.  You also need to be aware of the fees associated with this.

The cost for Prep is $100 for each student. This includes 1:2 ipad use throughout the year along with all curriculum and extra curriculum items.

The cost for Year 1 and Year 2 is $130 for each student.

The $130 includes the laptop hire ($50) and the MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS ($50).

Miscellenous items include things such as –

  • science consumables including experiment resources
  • Classroom workbooks and worksheets
  • Art & Craft materials
  • Calculator

If you are going to go and buy your own resources you will still need to pay a total of $100 to cover the cost of the Laptop and Miscellenous items.  If this isn't paid then your students do not have access to technology or the resources for science, art and subject workbooks.

Our SRS costs are kept low to assist families from having to purchase items throughout the year.  In effect the resource list is being provided for a cost of just $30.

The cost for Year 3 and Year 6 is $200 for each student.

The $200 includes the laptop hire ($125) and the MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS ($50).

Miscellenous items include things such as –

  • science consumables including experiment resources
  • Classroom workbooks and worksheets
  • Art & Craft materials
  • Calculator

If you are going to go and buy your own resources you will still need to pay a total of $175 to cover the cost of the Laptop and Miscellenous items.  If this isn't paid then your students do not have access to laptops or the resources for science, art and subject workbooks.

Our SRS costs are kept low to assist families from having to purchase items throughout the year.  In effect the resource list is being provided for a cost of just $25.

The laptops are valued at approximately $1000 each and we charge a relatively small fee for their annual hire.  Some schools charge the $200 just for the laptop hire.

The booklist provided is extremely refined and there should be no surplus at the end of the year. In the rare case that there are additional items left over, the teacher would send these home with the students they belong too.

The Student Resource Scheme (SRS) was introduced to minimise the cost to parents over the school year and also to be more efficient.
